Piano Lessons
 Students in the Regina Ziliani Piano Studio are presented with a well-rounded curriculum of music theory, history, ear training, sight-reading, composition, and performance. Regina enjoys customizing an individualized method for each student to fit his/her particular needs. Though the study is primarily classical, students are always encouraged to explore other musical interests such as Broadway, sacred, Disney, and jazz to name a few.
Regina Ziliani is a member of the Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum, the National Guild of Piano Teachers, the National Federation of Music Clubs, and Delta Omicron (a national honorary music fraternity). By attending meetings, reading professional publications, and attending workshops Regina stays current on the latest teaching materials and remains motivated to be an inspiring teacher.
Regina's students have actively participated as State, National and International Winners at the National Piano Guild Playing Auditions for the past 10 years. She has also had numerous students awarded the honor of "Best Performer" at the National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festival. Students also actively participate in recitals, as well as help compile Piano Notes, the studio newsletter.
Lessons are also available with the apprentice teacher, Danika Weisheit.
The Studio
Piano Students have access to so many wonderful instruments and teaching aids at the studio. Both the Samick Grand piano and the state-of-the-art Yamaha Digital Clavinova are exciting to play.
Students also enjoy the music theory software in the lessons. Music Ace, Alfred's Theory Games, Print Music, and Great Composers are just a few of the software titles students work with at the computer.
 
Performance Opportunities
In addition to the 2 recitals held each year, students also have the choice to participate in the National Piano Guild auditions, the Federation Festival and the Charlotte Christmas Show. Mrs. Ziliani holds Piano Parties for the students each year also. These are masterclass-type sessions where students perform for each other.
