Education/Training:
BS in Education from Temple University, I studied classical guitar with Phillip Cavelli, studied Piano and music theory and composition with Jimmy Amadie; I studied guitar technique, songwriting, arranging and education theory with Chuck Anderson; I studied vocal technique with Deborah Maher and Barbara Nyce; I am a licensed Kindermusik and Music Together teacher.
Personal Statement:
I feel that basic skills are essential to playing any instrument. But I try to instill a sense of fun in lessons because I feel students will practice more if they enjoy what they are working on.
