Jerri Nance earned her B.M. in Music Education from American Conservatory and recently went on to earn a M.M. from Roosevelt University. She is state certified and currently teaches Jr. High Band in addition to operating her music studio. As a professional pianist she has performed for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. She has studied piano for over 15 years with artists including Helen Kettner, educator and concert artist, Bruce Berr, educator and published composer, and currently studies with Salvatore Spina who attended the Mozarteum in Austria and performs in the U.S. and Europe. Ms. Nance has completed exams on all orchestral instruments with additional studies in flute, violin, voice, clarinet, and french horn. She is also a certified piano technician.
Professional affiliations include: Music Teachers National Association, Naperville Chapter of the Illinois State Music Teachers Association (Co-Vice President for programs), Music Educators National Conference, and the Downers Grove Music Club.
