Background
Calista Anne received her Music Therapy degree from FSU as well as her Gerontology certificate. Her Suzuki certificate was received in 1999 after being a "Suzuki kid" herself for 18 years. She coached two youth symphonies and co-founded the Covington Community Church Orchestra. Many of Calista's students have gone on to college with scholarships. Aside from the 30+ harp and piano students, Mrs. Calista has several students with learning disabilities such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and hearing impaired that take music lessons. Calista also teaches many gifted students who excel in both music and school. The Middle Georgia Harp Choir is directed by Mrs. Calista and is open to members of the studio that excel in harp are wish to work on ensemble playing.
