Music Instruction at Music Notes Academy emphasizes on the development of musical skills, reading abilities, music theory, instrument performance techniques and performance of classical, jazz and contemporary repertoire.

• Students of Music Notes Academy receive Semester Report Cards. Semester Report Cards describe
  academic and musical progress in areas of music theory, performance techniques, repertoire and overall
  comprehension and progression. Comments from the teacher will outline and describe detailed goals and
  objectives for upcoming semesters and school years.
• Teachers at Music Notes Academy all have degrees in music, music performance, music education
  and/or education. Music teachers only instruct instruments and areas of specialty and are dedicated to the
  musical growth of each student. Teachers are educated in curriculum, instruction and teaching strategies.  The Academy’s founder obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Music and his Masters of Arts in Education specializing in curriculum, instruction and computer education. Music Notes Academy is a member of NJ Music Educators Association, MENC and Percussive Arts Society.
• Teachers at Music Notes Academy prepare students for performance auditions, evaluations,
  competitions and school band performances. Students have participated in MEA Auditions, Region Band and All-State Band performances, Jazz Bands, Orchestras, Marching Bands and Rock Bands. Students have been accepted as music majors at colleges and universities.
• Schedule flexibility and convenience for students and parents. Students and parents avoid traveling to a school or location when the teacher comes to you! Parents can more easily arrange extra-curricular activities
  without the obligation of traveling to a school for music lessons. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and summer sessions are available for the convenience of students to receive professional music instruction in a familiar, secure environment away from unfamiliar distractions outside the home.
