I believe that all children can grow and profit by studying piano from a loving, supportive teacher with high standards, flexibility, and a sense of fun! Therefore, I want to promote the love of music making to all students regardless of age or ability; help build self-esteem and confidence, whether in a private or public setting; teach self-discipline and patience through music.

In my studio all students:

• Learn to read notes
• Appreciate good posture and hand position
• Develop a strong sense of rhythm and counting
• Receive ear training and music theory appropriate to their level and age

There are many good teaching methods available to the modern teacher and I select a method most appropriate to the maturity and learning style of the child. 
 
Adult students are also greatly appreciated.
